KOVRENT
Referral Partners

When a founder tells you there’s no successor.

This page is for custodian relationship managers, estate attorneys, CPAs, bankers, and consultants. We buy 100 percent of SEC-registered RIAs with $100M to $700M in assets from owners 55 and older with no funded succession plan. A confidential referral gets a partner call within 48 hours, and the founder hears from a person, not a sequence.

Who sends us founders

Five people who hear it first.

Custodian relationship managers
You hear “I don’t know what I’ll do with the firm” on the annual review. We keep the firm on your platform, and the founder hears from Kovrent, not a BD team.
Estate and succession attorneys
You are drafting a buy-sell the firm can’t fund. We fund it, and the agreement you drafted becomes the deal.
CPAs and tax advisors
You see the K-1 and the age on the same page. We give the founder a real range quickly so the tax planning starts with a number.
M&A advisors, consultants, and recruiters
You know which firms are quietly for sale and which founders are tired. We move fast, we are not an auction, and we honor the relationship you brought.
Bankers and lenders
You have a founder who tried to finance an internal buyout and it didn’t work. We buy 100 percent and retire the note.

What happens when you introduce a founder

Forty-eight hours, four steps.

Day 0
You send a name.
Your name, your firm, the founder’s firm. Nothing else is required. The referral is confidential.
Within 48 hours
A partner calls you within 48 hours.
Not an associate. We ask what you know and what the founder would want.
You decide
Nobody contacts the founder without consent.
You decide whether to introduce us, hand them the handoff sheet, or wait. We follow your lead.
One call
The founder hears from a person.
One partner, one call, one follow-up email with a name. No sequence.
The handoff sheet

One page you can give a founder.

Who Kovrent is, what stays after a sale, and the four questions to ask any buyer. No pricing, no pitch. Print it or send the link.

Open the handoff sheet
Anyone you send gets a free valuation range, quickly.
Introduce a founder

Send a name. Nothing else is required.

Confidential. A partner calls you, not the founder, within 48 hours. Nobody is contacted without the founder’s consent.

How we work with referral partners depends on who you are and what your role allows. Custodian and compliance professionals often cannot accept a fee, and we respect that. Advisors, consultants, and intermediaries who bring us a firm are treated as partners in the deal, and we discuss terms on the first call, in writing before anything moves. We do not pay for names. We pay for introductions that close, and we say so up front.
