Kovrent Holdings is a holding company. It buys 100 percent of independent wealth management firms, registered investment advisers (RIAs) regulated by the SEC, $100M to $700M in assets, from founders without a funded succession plan, and holds them. Each firm keeps its name, its team, and its registration; Kovrent is not an RIA and does not advise clients. What we add is the back office, the processes, the marketing, and the tools. Kovrent is funded by long-term capital on one set of terms: no stated fund life, no redemption right, and no provision that forces the sale of an operating firm.
